Planning for "The Trip"

Do you ever feel like planning for the trip/vacation takes more time than you are actually on vacation?
We have ventured into the world of "Glamping." I knew this was going to be a lot of work on my end- Let's be clear here...CAMPING is no means a Vacation for Mom- It IS a TRIP!
The two days prior to camping- 
Laundry for clothes to pack...
Cleaning the camper
Making the beds on the camper
Food shopping
Cooking/ Baking/Meal Prep
Packing for everyone!
Packing up the food on the camper
Packing up the equipment on the camper
Packing up the clothes/toiletries in the camper
Planning out the trip
Are you getting the idea here????
Family time is so important. The time we spend on the beach, going on adventures, trying new foods, making s'mores,  drinking rose', etc....is SO worth ALL of the preparations for the THREE days that we will be on this journey- However, the prep, not to mention the CLEAN UP when we get home is quite a work out & a reminder of why we ALL Need a Vacation at times.
Stay tuned for all of my camping attire- because let's face it...There is an outfit for EVERY occasion, even camping!

New Year Refresh

I t’s that time of year when the holidays are over our holiday Decor is put away, hopefully! Your home is clean & quiet & let’s face it- we’re stuck in the house right now due various reasons. So, it’s a great time to reevaluate and refresh. I find that if I don’t go through my things, refresh and get rid of things that I don’t need or use; think those fancy underwear that you bought that were so uncomfortable that you never wore them!  That being said- Let’s get rid of the clutter and keep the things that we feel our best in! If we learned anything in 2020 it was to live our best lives. I like to take the end of January/beginning of February as a time to go through my things. I start with the most important; my “intimates”… Meaning bras underwear pajamas and of course my robe! This week at Smooth Styling with Corinne we are going to explore all of these!
