Mom Hacks

So, I was out a few nights ago with a bunch of girlfriends; I know! I couldn't believe it either...& it was a Thursday night- SHOCKING! Anyway, I digress.... I started giving fun little tips & my friends decided that I should do a blog post about my "Mom Hacks." I am sure you have heard of some of these and/or even do them yourself. Either way- humor me...

1. DAWN soap combined with water in a small water bottle works as an awesome stain remover.
2. Dawn soap with a soft baby toothbrush is perfect for cleaning jewelry- especially diamonds.
3. Licking your fingers before trying to pull up tights or stockings will help you get a better grip.
4. Putting your alarm clock in the next room will ensure that you get up & not just roll over, turn off your alarm & go back to sleep.
5. Using RF soothe #2- sensitive skin treatment right after shaving will prevent razor burn.
6. Spraying your hairbrush wth hairspray before brushing your hair will prevent fly-aways & frizz
7. Rubbing a dryer sheet on a piece of clothing with static will get rid of the static
8. Putting foundation on your lips prior to applying lipstick will prolong the wear of the lipstick
9. Warming up the eye lash curler with the hairdryer before curling your lashes will increase volume & curl dramatically.
10. When out of eye make up remover use baby shampoo on a wash cloth with warm water to remove eye make up.

I would love to know some of your Life Hacks! Please comment for a fun free gift from me!

New Year Refresh

I t’s that time of year when the holidays are over our holiday Decor is put away, hopefully! Your home is clean & quiet & let’s face it- we’re stuck in the house right now due various reasons. So, it’s a great time to reevaluate and refresh. I find that if I don’t go through my things, refresh and get rid of things that I don’t need or use; think those fancy underwear that you bought that were so uncomfortable that you never wore them!  That being said- Let’s get rid of the clutter and keep the things that we feel our best in! If we learned anything in 2020 it was to live our best lives. I like to take the end of January/beginning of February as a time to go through my things. We will talk about underwear/panties (I hate that word)... bras/bralettes/sports bras, pajamas- I will Share with you my fav

Making a list, checking it twice...

Do you have a holiday shopping list? Santa should not be the only one making a list & checking it twice!  Getting & staying  organized around the holidays is a skill all to its own. As we know most Moms have what we call"Holiday Anxiety." Don't get me wrong- I know you LOVE the holidays! The decorating as a family, baking together, visiting Santa, getting the Christmas tree & decorating, drinking hot chocolate together- the whole shebang... BUT we have A LOT to do & most of that "To Do" is behind the scenes. It is the prepping, the shopping, the wrapping, the organizing that the kids, & often others, do not see.  Well, I do not need one more thing to be stressed about. I want to enjoy my hot chocolate & be able to reorganize the ornaments on the Christmas tree in peace :) and I would be LOST without my Holiday Gift Spreadsheet. I am not a spreadsheet kind of girl on the daily. I will admit that lists are my jam & I could not live with
